Committed to Building
A Better Tomorrow
Dear Friends,
With the COVID-19 rate in Meghalaya down to less than ten percent, August saw SVM-Meghalaya's operations on the ground progress rapidly. Ongoing projects like Gramin Healthcare's Polyclinic center and Farmer Development Centers (FDCs) continued outreach and our Salesforce Trailblazer labs welcomed the first batch of students. SVM-Apollo Telehealth services project finalized strategic locations around rural Meghalaya to bring specialist consultations via telemedicine technology to villagers who lacked access.
Our student projects with UC Berkeley began this month with students actively participating on the SVM Platform to work on potential solutions for some critical pain points faced by the rural communities of Meghalaya. Successful student research projects could eventually be selected as real-world solutions and even form the basis of new innovations, processes, or policies.
As ever, we place our faith in the Open-Innovation methodology
of collaboration and create an ecosystem where Governments, Universities, Corporates, and SVM come together to make a real difference in the life of villagers.
Thank you for your participation and support.
Stay safe,
